Payza money laundering indictment resolutions on horizon

Our final replace on the Payza indictments was Firoz Patel pleading not responsible again in January.

Since then negotiations have been happening behind the scenes, main in the direction of what is going to doubtless be a plea discount.

On November ninth the DOJ filed a consent movement requesting a standing convention date extension.

The standing convention had been scheduled for November 14th. The DOJ’s movement requested that date be postponed until December sixteenth or later.

The request for the extension as quoted within the movement is extra time

to permit the events to conclude a possible decision to the matter.

The events have made substantial progress in the course of the excluded and anticipate reaching a decision.

On November twelfth the movement was granted, rescheduling the standing convention to January tenth, 2020.

Whether or not a decision is reached previous to January twentieth stays to be seen.
