NXR Global Review: $21.95 discount service subscriptions

BehindMLM first came across NXR Global when we reviewed Lifestyle Connections in 2020.

Lifestyle Connections is marketed as being “powered by NXR Global”, presumably yet another company owned by Bremner.

“Bremner” refers to David Bremner, who together with Bob Bremner and other relatives, ran vStream TV and IXQ TV.

The MPA shut down IXQ TV in late 2019.

That led us to Lifestyle Connections’ launch on or around early 2020.

Lifestyle Connections’ website is still up but traffic is negligible.

Another Bremner family company launch was Pyur Global in 2016.

Pyur Global marketed a range of nutritional supplements and an “iHeart Device”.

In April 2019 Pyur Global was rebooted as Pyur Life.

The reboot saw victims of the Noble 8 Revolution Ponzi cycler, most of whom were elderly, funnelled into the company.

At time of publication Pyur Life’s website was non-responsive.

NXR Global’s website domain (“nxrglobal.com”), was privately registered on November 2nd, 2021.

In a February 2020 update to our Lifestyle Connections review, I noted the use of “nxrglobal.com”.

It appears the domain has now been rebooted as a standalone opportunity.

NXR Global’s website uses the same design template as Lifestyle Connections.

The Bremners’ ownership of NXR Global is not disclosed anywhere on the company’s website.

As always, if an MLM company is not openly upfront about who is running or owns it, think long and hard about joining and/or handing over any money.

NXR Global’s Products

NXR Global markets a “cash back app”.

Exclusively for our valued members – earn an average of 5.4% cash back on every purchase at over 250 national retailers, restaurants and travel brands. Valid only in the US for US residents.

NXR Global’s cashback marketing video reveals the platform is “powered by Shopping Boss”.

Shopping Boss markets a “100% turnkey solution” for companies wanting to offer access to a cashback platform. Pricing isn’t disclosed.

Other services offered through NXR Global include:

  • a gasoline savings app
  • prescription savings service
  • a discount savings app for non US residents
  • a digital marketing platform

No specifics on any of the other services NXR Global markets is provided.

Also absent is retail pricing. NXR Global’s compensation plan however reveals that retail access is tied to a $21.95 subscription.

Although no specifics are provided on NXR Global’s website, the compensation plan details integration of Pyur Life products.

As a [sic] NXR Global Member you will have access to Pyur Life products at huge discounts.

NXR Global’s Compensation Plan

NXR Global pays commissions on the sale of monthly subscriptions. These sales count both to retail customers and recruited affiliates.

NXR Global pays subscriptions via a unilevel compensation structure.

A unilevel compensation structure places an affiliate at the top of a unilevel team, with every personally recruited affiliate placed directly under them (level 1):

If any level 1 affiliates recruit new affiliates, they are placed on level 2 of the original affiliate’s unilevel team.

If any level 2 affiliates recruit new affiliates, they are placed on level 3 and so on and so forth down a theoretical infinite number of levels.

NXR Global caps payable unilevel team levels at six.

Commissions are paid based on subscriptions sold across these six levels as follows:

  • level 1 (personally referred retail customers or recruited affiliates) – $5 per subscription sold
  • level 2 (must sell and maintain two subscriptions) – $1 per subscription sold
  • level 3 (must sell and maintain three subscriptions) – $1 per subscription sold
  • level 4 (must sell and maintain four subscriptions) – $1 per subscription sold
  • levels 5 and 6 (must sell and maintain five subscriptions) – $1 per subscription sold

Commissions are paid monthly for the life of each NXR Global subscription.

Pro Member Overrides

When an NXR Global affiliate refers and maintains five subscriptions, they qualify as a “Pro Member”.

NXR Global Pro Members receive overrides on downline affiliates who have not unlocked all six available unilevel team levels.

Pass-up Commissions

NXR Global pays an additional $5 on the first, third, fifth, sixth and then every subscription sold.

The $5 generated on the second and fourth subscription sales are passed upline to the affiliate who recruited you.

In turn you receive $5 pass-up commissions from the second and fourth subscription sales generated across your downline.

Pyur Life Recruitment Commissions

NXR Global pays commissions on the purchase of Pyur Life products by recruited affiliates.

Specific commission payouts aren’t provided.

Joining NXR Global

NXR Global affiliate costs aren’t disclosed. Whether a $21.95 monthly subscription is mandatory is unclear.

NXR Global Conclusion

NXR Global is essentially a stripped down continuation of Lifestyle Connections.

A cash back app is common between the two companies, with the other services being slight variations.

Lifestyle Connections had a “personal financial management system”, NXR Global offers a gas savings app.

Lifestyle Connections had a telemedicine service, NXR Global offers discount prescriptions.

The integration of Pyur Life is interesting. Looks to me like someone is trying to offload inventory they can’t otherwise move.

One key difference is an annual NXR Global subscription will set you back $263.40. In Lifestyle Connections it was $468.

What I said back then still applies;

We’re in the era of free apps that share their commissions with users. In that environment, dropping $468 annually just to access savings makes little sense.

Dropping even $263.40 annually to access savings makes no sense, given the freely available competition.

The question mark over Lifestyle Connections’ retail viability also carries over.

It’s obvious that, while available, retail isn’t really a focus.

Based on this, taken from NXR Global’s compensation plan, the company on-boards retail customers into its compensation plan:

The instant you become a $21.95 monthly subscriber, (Customer), you are immediately placed, for free, into the highest position available of our upcoming 2 by Customer Loyalty matrix.

NXR Global don’t clarify whether the “Customer Loyalty matrix” pays commissions or not. The only tangible products are that of Pyur Life, so those might have been repurposed.

In any event, Lifestyle Connections collapsing is proof enough that its saving subscription service wasn’t retail viable.

If you want to query that in NXR Global, ask your potential upline how many unilevel team levels they’ve unlocked.

The need five to max it out, so next you’ll ask them how many of the sales they’ve made so far are retail.

If it’s anything less than a 50/50 retail/recruitment subscription split, that affiliate is running NXR Global as a pyramid scheme.

Given the Bremners’ past MLM offerings, this wouldn’t be a departure from the norm.

Update 6th September 2022 – NXR Global has been rebooted as Nexus Rewards.
