Crowd1, HyperFund & Solmax Global illegal in Nepal


Nepal’s high monetary regulator has issued an illegality warning towards Crowd1, HyperFund and Solmax World.

The Nepal Rastra Financial institution identifies Crowd1, HyperFund and Solmax World, as MLM corporations using cryptocurrency.

Community advertising and marketing (MLM) and cryptocurrency are each unlawful in Nepal.

Crowd1 is a long-running MLM Ponzi scheme whose newest providing sees associates investing in a UK shell firm. Funding can also be solicited via a crypto NFT “sport”.

Following a number of regulatory warnings, HyperFund rebranded itself as Hyperverse in late 2021. The Ponzi scheme is trying to get into NFT fraud however is plagued with ongoing withdrawal issues.
