Prosperity Income Network Review: $25,997 pyramid scheme

Prosperity Income Network’s website provides no information about who owns or runs the business.

Prosperity Income Network’s website domain (“prosperityincomenetwork.com”) was privately registered on September 11th, 2019.

As always, if an MLM company is not openly upfront about who is running or owns it, think long and hard about joining and/or handing over any money.

Prosperity Income Network’s Products

Prosperity Income Network has no retailable products or services.

Affiliates are only able to market Prosperity Income Network affiliate membership itself.

Prosperity Income Network affiliate membership provides access to various digital marketing tools.

Prosperity Income Network’s Compensation Plan

Prosperity Income Network affiliates pay $597 to $25,997 to join the company.

  • Starter – $597
  • Deluxe – $2197
  • Premium – $3297
  • Master – $6497
  • Diamond Elite – $12,697
  • Executive Elite – $25,997

Commissions are paid when they recruit others who do the same.

  • recruit a Starter tier affiliate and earn $350
  • recruit a Deluxe tier affiliate and earn $1400
  • recruit a Premium tier affiliate and earn $2450
  • recruit a Master tier affiliate and earn $4200
  • recruit a Diamond Elite tier affiliate and earn $8400
  • recruit an Executive Elite tier affiliate and earn $20,000

The catch is that Prosperity Income Network affiliates can only earn up to the tier they bought in at.

E.g. Deluxe tier affiliates can only earn up to $1400, regardless of the tier an affiliate they recruit buys in at.

This brings us to the MLM component of Prosperity Income Network’s compensation plan, which is your typical pass-up model.

If a Prosperity Income Network affiliate recruits a higher tier affiliate, they earn up to their tier.

As an example let’s say a Premium tier affiliate recruits a Diamond Elite tier affiliate.

Recruitment of a Diamond Elite tier affiliate generates an $8400 commission.

The Premium tier affiliate recruiter earns $2450 off the sale, leaving $4950 to pay out.

The system searches higher upline for a Master or higher tier affiliate to pay this balance out to.

If a Master tier affiliate is found first, they are paid their full $4200 commission tier.

This leaves $750 to be paid to either a Diamond Elite or Executive Elite upline affiliate, whichever is found first.

If the first upline affiliate found was a Diamond Elite or Executive Elite affiliate, they’ve had received the full outstanding $4950 balance.

This is because Master tier affiliates can only earn up to $4200. Diamond Elites and Executive Elites can earn $8400 and $17,500 per recruit respectively.

Uplines pass-ups are tracked via a unilevel team:

Which theoretically allows higher tier Prosperity Income Network affiliates to receive pass-up commissions from many levels below them.

Conclusion

Visitors to Prosperity Income Network’s website are told they earn “70% – 80% commissions on all sales”, which requires “no selling on your part”.

Note that 70% is the base commission. 80% appears to be some promotional rate Prosperty Income Network is offering at the moment.

In any event what’s being sold is affiliate membership which, when coupled with an MLM pass-up compensation plan, makes Prosperity Income Network a pyramid scheme.

That Prosperity Income Network has no retail offering is telling, because up to 80% of funds paid to join the company are paid to recruiters.

Indeed Prosperity Income Network’s website doesn’t even mention its pseudo-compliance products. Instead visitors are pitched solely on “passive automated system that works”.

Prosperity Income Network’s passive automated system “works” for as long as new recruits sign up and hand over money.

Prosperity Income Network’s admin makes a pretty penny, pocketing admin fees plus the remaining 20%-30% paid by each new recruit.

Two examples of the FTC going after similar fraudulent schemes are Digital Altitude and MOBE.

Both charged stupid money for worthless digital marketing products. Both used coaches to encourage prospects to sign up using high-pressure boiler-room sales tactics.

And both openly encouraged prospects to go into debt to fund the owners’ and top recruiters’ lifestyles.

Prosperity Network is no different.

As with all pyramid schemes, once recruitment dies down so too do commissions.

This is followed by an eventual collapse, at which point the majority of Prosperity Income Network affiliates realize a mathematically guaranteed loss.
