WorldVentures v. Mavie trial showdown scheduled for Dec 2nd

A September eleventh courtroom order has scheduled the WorldVentures v. Mavie lawsuit trial for December 2nd, 2019.

The day after the order co-defendant Ariix filed a movement requesting a reset of the trial date.

Ariix claims it’s holding a distributor occasion in Thailand between December 4th and eleventh.

Key Ariix executives, together with CEO Fred Cooper, are scheduled to look on the occasion. Ariix intends to name these executives as witnesses, making a scheduling battle.

Of their opposition to Ariix request, WorldVentures notes the trial has already been moved from its unique September scheduling.

The corporate claims its attorneys and witnesses have already accommodated the primary rescheduling, with a second being unreasonable.

ARIIX has merely indicated that three of its witnesses—CEO Fred Cooper, President Mark Wilson, and CIO Wenhan Zhang (collectively, the “Government Witnesses”)—are scheduled to
attend an ARIIX occasion in Thailand from December 4-11.

ARIIX has not, nevertheless, indicated that the Government Witnesses’ attendance is required on the Thailand occasion for its complete period.

Given the character of such business occasions (which generally solely final just a few days), it appears unlikely that the occasion couldn’t go ahead within the Government Witnesses’ absence.

In a little bit of snark, WorldVentures questions the significance of Ariix’s occasion, as they had been ‘unable to find any point out of (it) on ARIIX’s web site or social media‘.

Out of curiosity I headed over to Ariix’s web site. There’s a promo for a “Nice Escape” 2020 occasion in Costa Rica however nothing a couple of December occasion in Thailand.

Pending a call on Ariix’s movement. Keep tuned.

Replace twenty ninth September 2019 – Ariix’s movement for a postponed courtroom date was denied on September twentieth.

Replace eighth December 2019 – As of late November 2019, WorldVentures has reached a settlement with company defendants MaVie and Ariix.

In mild of the dispute between the events being confidentially resolved, the scheduled December 2nd trial was cancelled.
