Trunited shuts down, blames COVID-19 pandemic

Trunited has informed its affiliates the company is shutting down.

The stated reason for the closure is the ongoing effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In an announcement on their website, Trunited writes;

Dear Trunited Members,

We regret to inform you that Trunited will be closing its doors as of 9/1/2021. The COVID pandemic has rattled through layers of our business and it no longer makes sense to continue operating.

The final August commission period will be processed on 9/7/2021.

It has been an honor to be in business with you for all these years.

Respectfully,

Trunited Management

I tried to date when this message might have gone up but Trunited’s Facebook page hasn’t been updated since October 2020.

In any event, the official closure date of Trunited was September 1st, 2021.

Trunited launched in 2015. The company was headed up by founder Nicolas Porter (right).

BehindMLM reviewed Trunited in September 2019. I wasn’t impressed with the company’s overly complicated compensation plan.

Trunited’s business model relied on mandatory monthly affiliate purchases.

This lent itself to Trunited affiliates focusing on autoship recruitment, which in turn meant Trunited was likely operating as a pyramid scheme.
